In 2001 Chef Andreas started his Scholarship Fund which he awards to deserving students at local Culinary Colleges in California. Andreas is very passionate about assisting those deserving individuals that have dreams of a future and building a career in the hospitality industry. He believes in helping the less fortunate that might otherwise never have the opportunity to attend college. Through the ChefAndreas.com Scholarship many have been able to achieve their dreams and goals of becoming chefs.

| Over the past 10 years, Chef Andreas also supports and in very involved in many charities. Andreas give his time and efforts to many organizations such as:
Special Olympics Annual Charity at Pier de sol
Camp Ronald McDonald charity event
Meals on Wheels Charity helping to feed to less fortunate
Host chef for Blind Children Center of Los Angeles
American Cancer Society " Relay for Life" annual event
Cooks for Los Angeles Fire fighters and Los Angeles Police Dept every Thanksgiving & Christmas

Being a third generation chef and knowing the power of an education himself, Andreas Nieto has committed himself to this effort to ensure the growth and accomplishments of students seeking great academics and training. If not for my own education i would have never been able to accomplish my personal goals and could not have achieved such success of my own. As i look back on my own career and journey i thank those that supported me and gave me the opportunity to achieve my dreams and goals. I made a commitment as a young chef to give back and create the same opportunities i was given. Through my ChefAndreas Scholarship i am able to fulfill my commitment and with your support and donations we are making a difference in many lives. Many thanks!
