The first thing to do is prepare your feet for your pedicure. This means making sure they're clean and removing any old polish with a cotton ball and nail polish remover. Take time to use a cotton swab to get the color around the bed of the nail.

Now, you can start with these simple steps:
-
Trim nails so that they extend just slightly beyond the tops of your toes.
-
Massage lotion into feet and lower legs. Make circular motions, applying more pressure to arches and calves to undo tension.
-
Push back cuticles with a wooden cuticle stick. Never cut cuticles, because they prevent bacteria from getting under your skin. Wipe Nails with a cotton soaked in polish remover.
-
Apply two coats of polish.
-
Seal with a topcoat. And let dry for 30 minutes.
